Laughing Hyenas
Have you ever actually heard a hyena laugh? Well now you have.
This is the family gathering spot for the MacKenzies, Overbeys, Notts and all of the widely scattered branches of our family tree. This is a Team Blog so all family members can participate. It's also a private blog so only family members will be able to access it.
We took a jeep tour into the mountains of Sedona. We had set our reservations for this prior to coming. Unfortunately the cloud cover still hadn't lifted when we went so the views weren't great. But they were still nice, just not what we would have expected to see on almost any other day in Sedona. I will post a few pics later.
I took Sasha to Peggy's house to meet Apollo and Judy today. At first she was all in attack mode and just wanted to bark and growl at them, but, after a while, she settled down and they got acquainted. Lots of nose to tail sniffing and investigating. I hope to take her over to visit a couple more times before I leave her with Peggy for our VA trip 12-15 to 12-20.
Sasha is a Papillon mix I just adopted from the Dixie County Humane Society. She is a year to year and a half old. She has heartworms, but is being treated. Yes, Merle is still getting his Boston Terrier right after Christmas. Peggy says she will Sasha-sit while we go to VA for Christmas. Next photos show us and Sasha on her first day home. She was calm and quiet the day we first saw her. We now know she is a bundle of energy, loves your lap, and likes lots of attention just as her breed is supposed to.
